Clinical Dietitian (Per Diem)
Qualifications
Must obtain licensure through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration of Dietitians and Nutritionists within six (6) months of hire.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete nutrition assessments and reassessments in accordance with department standards.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients, helping them understand dietary requirements and food choices that support their medical needs.
- Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, disease prevention, weight management, and overall wellness.
- Interpret risk factor profiles and communicate results in a clear and understandable manner.
- Evaluate and monitor patient nutrition care plans and reinforce behavior-change strategies to improve health outcomes.
- Demonstrate the effectiveness of Medical Nutrition Therapy through patient engagement and outcome monitoring.
Diet Technician (Full-Time and Part-Time)
Qualifications
Associates Degree in Nutrition, 50% successful completion towards a BS in Nutrition, and/or 2 years clinical experience as a diet tech.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with patients to complete menus in accordance with food allergies, cultural and ethnic preferences, food tolerances, and nutrition plans established by the dietitian.
- Deliver accurate and timely meals according to prescribed diet orders and department standards.
- Address patient meal requests and collaborate with kitchen staff and dietitians to accommodate individual needs whenever possible.
- Set up and assist with feeding patients as needed.
- Check patient trays during tray-line operations and assist with meal production.
- Retrieve food carts from the kitchen and transport meals to patient care areas.

Pay Range:
$21.00 – $28.26
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
