Job Description:

Monday through Friday, 8 hour shifts, in-person position with flexibility to work from home.

This role operates within a multidisciplinary team to offer assistance to patients, families and caregivers to ease the burden of a complicated healthcare system from diagnosis through end of life care.

-Collaborates with physicians, nurses, pharmacy, social work, office support staff, as well as community services to support an individual's oncology journey

-Provides phone triage to support patient care and symptom management from home

-Pilots all logistics to maintain a patient's continuity of care including oral prescription management, referral maintenance and follow up care

-Assists hematology/oncology physicians in sterile procedures (bone marrow biopsies)

-Acts as an active member on all multidisciplinary tumor boards and department committees

-Floating to IV Infusion to cover as needed is required

Education/Experience Required:

• 2-3 years of recent oncology nursing experience required

• Graduate – approved School of Nursing

• BSN Preferred, OCN/ONS preferred (must obtain within one year of employment if not certified)

This role also floats to IV Infusion and is cross campus between Beverly and Gloucester.

 

 

Pay Range:

$36.00 – $79.12

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.  The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
