24 hpw; 8-hr shifts (start time vary from 8a-10a)

Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities:
•    Utilizes clinical skills to perform patient evaluations involving assessment of range of motion, strength, function, posture, balance, coordination, etc.
•    Assesses patient’s rehabilitation potential based upon evaluation and the patient/family’s attitude toward rehabilitation.
•    Based upon evaluation findings, establishes appropriate treatment goals with input from the patient and family.
•    Formulates and implements a plan of care to reach treatment goals, utilizing physical therapy techniques/procedures.
•    Maintains medical records, with daily documentation of all evaluations and treatment with periodic reevaluations of progress and modification of treatment programs and goals accordingly.
•    Provide education to patients, their families, nurses, other hospital staff and the general public in proper body mechanics, prevention of injury and the role of physical therapy.
•    Supervise, guide and evaluate the functional and technical performance of physical therapy assistants, aides and students, as needed.

Experience Required:
•    One to two years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.

Registration/Certification:
•    Physical Therapy license.
•   AHA BLS Certification
 

 

 

Pay Range:

$35.53 – $61.67

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.  The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
