Job Description:

Looking for a role that offers the perfect mix of acute inpatient care and rewarding outpatient relationships? Winchester Hospital (part of Beth Israel Lahey Health) is hiring a versatile Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our collaborative Neurology team!

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • The Best of Both Worlds: Split your time between fast-paced hospital consults (ED/ICU/Floors) and longitudinal care in our ambulatory clinic.

  • Top-Tier Benefits: Competitive salary, generous PTO, 401(k) matching, and a dedicated CME stipend/time off.

What You'll Do

  • Inpatient (~20%): Respond to acute neurology consults, perform daily rounding, manage post-stroke protocols, and coordinate safe discharge plans.

  • Outpatient (~80%): Diagnose and manage chronic conditions (migraines, epilepsy, Parkinson's, cognitive disorders) and handle post-discharge follow-ups.

  • Collaborate: Order/interpret neuro-imaging (MRI, CT, EEG) and partner with multidisciplinary teams.

What We're Looking For

  • Licensure: Current NP or PA license in Massachusetts (plus DEA & MCSR).

  • Certification: Board certified (Acute Care NP preferred for nurses due to inpatient scope; NCCPA for PAs). ACLS/BLS required.
