Job Description:
Mount Auburn Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Massage Therapist to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and healthcare professionals every day. This unique role provides therapeutic massage services to a diverse patient population, as well as hospital staff, in a dynamic healthcare environment. We are looking for a therapist who is passionate about helping others, naturally empathetic, and excited about providing brief, impactful treatments tailored to individual needs. The ideal candidate is adaptable, able to work in a variety of clinical settings, and committed to creating positive experiences that support healing and wellness.
What You'll Do
- Provide brief therapeutic massage treatments to patients and staff in a variety of healthcare settings.
- Adapt treatment approaches to meet the needs of diverse patient populations and clinical environments.
- Maintain accurate documentation and service logs.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Develop positive, professional relationships with patients, staff, and colleagues.
- Coordinate scheduling and services with supervisors and department leadership.
- Set up, maintain, and break down treatment spaces and equipment, including massage chairs.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional treatment environment.
- Attend department trainings, meetings, and events as required.
- Support promotional and outreach efforts for massage therapy services.
- Uphold the mission, values, policies, and service standards of Mount Auburn Hospital.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Massage Therapy program.
- Current Massachusetts Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) credential.
- Proof of professional liability insurance-preferred
- Working knowledge of oncology massage therapy; additional training preferred.
- Ability to provide chair massage for extended periods and deliver treatments through clothing when appropriate.
- Strong sensory awareness and ability to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals
- Applicants with experience in a range of clinical setting including oncology, hospice, physical therapy are preferred.
