Job Description:

This position reports directly to the Nurse Manager and provides general administrative support for the Endoscopy Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):

  • Performs a variety of scheduling, computer, administrative and supply functions to support the Endoscopy Department
  • Schedules department surgical procedures
  • Contacts patients, patient’s families, physicians, physician office staff and community and cooperates and maintains relationships with other departments
  • Assembles medical records and acts as a Receptionist for the department

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills are required
  • Ability to function independently within the scope of the job description
  • Medical terminology experience preferred, but not required
  • Prior experience with EPIC preferred, but not required

Pay Range:

$20.00 – $26.92

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
