Job Description:
Winchester Hospital, a member of Beth Israel Lahey Health, has an ED Tech opening on our Emergency Room team. Our 30 bed/14 wall space unit provides emergency care to all patient populations with a variety of medical conditions.
Schedule: 3, 12 hour eve/night shifts/week, as well as weekend and holiday rotation
Job Description:
Working under the direction of a registered nurse, this position contributes to the Hospital’s mission to care, heal and to excel in service to our community by performing procedures to provide emergency care, for the comfort and safety of patients. This clinical staff position will have an impact on the patient’s experience by facilitating excellent outcomes utilizing a collaborative team approach to patient care in the emergency care setting.
Education/Experience
Required:
- 
Certified Nursing Assistant, nursing student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation or one year clinical care experience or equivalent education, one year clinical care experience, EMT or emergency room clinical experience 
Preferred:
- 
High school diploma/equivalent strongly preferred 
- 
Emergency patient care experience 
- 
EKG experience 
- 
Phlebotomy experience 
Other Skills/Knowledge:
Preferred:
- 
Basic computer skills 
- 
Crisis Prevention/Intervention 
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS:
Preferred: Nursing Assistant, EMT, Medical Assistant and/or Phlebotomist certification

Pay Range:
$19.50 – $26.24
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
