Job Description:

Winchester Hospital is a 5x Magnet designated, Top Massachusetts recognized 226-bed regional hospital that is the leading provider of comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area. 

Working under the direction of a registered nurse, this ED Tech position contributes to the Hospital’s mission to care, heal and to excel in service to our community by performing procedures to provide emergency care, for the comfort and safety of patients.  This clinical staff position will have an impact on the patient’s experience by facilitating optimal outcomes utilizing a collaborative team approach to patient care in the emergency care setting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience

Required:

Certified Nursing Assistant, nursing student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation or one year clinical care experience or equivalent education, one year clinical care experience, EMT or emergency room clinical experience  

Preferred:

·         High school diploma/equivalent strongly preferred

·         Emergency patient care experience

·         EKG experience

·         Phlebotomy experience

Other Skills/Knowledge:

Preferred:

·         Basic computer skills

·         Crisis Prevention/Intervention

Schedule: Three 12 hr shifts including every third weekend and holiday group rotation

 

 

Pay Range:

$19.50 – $26.24

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
