Emergency Department Registered Nurse – 36 hours (full-time) evenings

Job Description:

LAHEY BURLINGTON IS A LEVEL 1 TRAUMA CENTERAs we continue to grow, we are seeking experienced and qualified nurses for our Emergency Department. The experienced and highly skilled nurses in the ED provide care to patients that have been in accidents or have medical emergencies that need immediate attention. There is nothing our ED Nurses cant do.

Our new spacious, state-of-the-art Emergency Department has: 44 beds in over 45,000 square feet Completely new entrances with a sun-filled reception area A convenient imaging suite Pharmacy Fast-track area Behavioral health suite Private treatment rooms Family waiting area and a family consultation room.At Lahey Hospital & Medical Center we utilize complete computerized charting (EPIC) for patient assessment and care documentation, and to electronically record medication administration for the delivery of all medications provided to their patients.

Along with excellent critical thinking skills, a desire to exceed patient expectations and good interpersonal skills, we require:

  • State of Massachusetts RN licensure
  • At least one year of nursing experience in the ED is preferred
  • BLS Required (AHA or American Red Cross)
  • ACLS preferred

 

 

Pay Range:

$37.00 – $95.37

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
