Job Description:

Winchester Hospital is a 5x Magnet designated, Top 10 Massachusetts recognized 223-bed regional hospital that is the leading provider of comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area.  

As an Endoscopy Tech for our Endoscopy Team, you will be responsible for the following:
•    in preparing rooms and equipment.
•    assists with patient care to facilitate an orderly, efficient and safe clinical environment. 
•    ensuring the equipment and scopes are properly cleaned and disinfected.
•    Provides quality and safe patient care.
•    Facilitates patients in and out of procedure room.

•    Independently performs turn over of procedure rooms (remove used scopes; changing over suction & O2 tubing; performs terminal cleaning of equipment, setting up room, inspects equipment and Endosoft to insure proper functioning)  ensures expedient turnaround time in a neat environment.
•    Obtain vital signs and record findings

Education: 
Required:  
•    High School Diploma or equivalent And
•    Completion of a Certified Nurse’s Assistant course Or
•    Nursing Student with two completed clinical rotations

Experience: 
Required: Phlebotomy, EKG or Nursing Assistant
Preferred: ACU or Medical/Surgical

BLS is required

This is a 40 hour day position 
 

 

 

Pay Range:

$22.00 – $29.61

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
