Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) – Gastroenterology (Liver) 

Join the Gastroenterology team at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health. We are hiring a compassionate and highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to provide high-quality, patient-focused care in our Outpatient GI Clinic. 

About the Opportunity 

  • Role: Full-Time Outpatient APP (NP or PA) in Gastroenterology. 

  • Setting: Fast-paced, busy Outpatient GI Clinic. 

  • Schedule: NO call, NO weekends, NO holidays! (40 clinical hours/week). 

  • Team: Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of Gastroenterologists, APPs, and Nurses. 

  • Focus: Evaluation and management of adult GI conditions in collaboration with MDs. 

Key Responsibilities (Liver-Focused): 

  • Perform comprehensive liver-disease-focused evaluations and follow-up visits. 

  • Diagnose and manage a broad range of liver conditions, including: 

  • Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD/NASH) 

  • Viral hepatitis (HBV, HCV) 

  • Cirrhosis & its complications 

  • Alcohol-associated liver disease 

  • Autoimmune liver diseases (AIH, PBC, PSC) 

  • Abnormal liver tests 

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, stool studies). 

  • Coordinate care with GI subspecialists, Primary Care, and other referring providers. 

  • Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation and assist with in-basket management. 

What We're Looking For-

Required Experience: 

  • 1 year of Hepatology or GI APP experience is REQUIRED. 

Education & Licensure 

  • PA: Graduate of an accredited PA program. 

  • NP: Graduate of a Master’s program in Nursing. 

  • Required: Active APRN/PA certification and license, DEA number, and MA Controlled Substances Registration number.

Pay Range:

$133,120.00 USD – $215,000.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
