Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):
1. Assigns and checks work of all dietary aides.
2. Provides input into employee performance evaluations.
3. Opens Kitchen for business and turns on equipment.
4. Oversees the setup of all stations on the tray line.
5. Assumes staffing responsibilities by calling in employees if shortages occur or performs those duties.
6. Assumes dish-room and tray-line responsibilities; performs all duties of dietary aide.
7. Checks patient floor refrigerators for cleanliness and appropriate par stock levels.
8. Receives early food deliveries (bread, bakery, rolls, ice cream, etc.).
9. Checks for accuracy and separates orders for patients, Cafeteria, and Coffee Shop.
10. Performs all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to read and understand English, follow menu specifications, and check in orders.

Good interpersonal communication skills to instruct others.

Pay Range:
$19.00 – $25.57
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
