Lifestyle Health Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) 

Lahey Clinic, Beth Israel Lahey Health 

Londonderry 

 

Join Lahey Clinic, a member of Beth Israel Lahey Health, as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Lifestyle Health. The interdisciplinary team (consisting of physicians, advanced practice providers, behavioral health providers, and registered dieticians) uses a collaborative approach to develop a health and wellness plan for adult patients.  Our approach includes comprehensive medical evaluation, nutritional counseling, and behavioral consults. The Lifestyle Health Membership provides patients with access to a wide range of educational programs, cooking demos, recipes, and more. 

 

Schedule: 

  • Full time (40 hours/week) 

  • Hybrid Position: 3 days in person, and 2 remote  

  • Monday – Friday  

  • Potential call coverage in the near future 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Prescribe and manage medication within the scope of practice of the supervising physician per licensure. 

  • Communicate relevant data via timely written documentation in the electronic medical record. 

  • Provide patient education regarding weight loss medications.  

  • Provide education and counseling to patients for healthy lifestyle and behavior change with an emphasis on healthy eating, regular exercise and consistent follow up with members of the interdisciplinary team. 

  • Consult with collaborating physicians on cases of concern. 

  • Delegate tasks to support staff within an appropriate scope of practice. 

  • Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with members of the interdisciplinary team. 

  • Participate in ongoing education programs and continue professional development through organizational and community resources, conferences, and workshops. 

  • Complete annual mandatory education. 

  • Maintain courteous and professional interactions with all staff and patients. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Commitment in managing the physical, emotional, and social impact of patients navigating weight loss interventions. 

  • Experience in nutrition, obesity medicine and family medicine is a plus 

  • Experience using EPIC is preferred 

  • PA or NP certification 

  • DEA license  

  • MCSR  

  • BLS certification required

Pay Range:

$133,120.00 USD – $215,000.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
