Job Description:

The Nurse Manager maintains 24-hour accountability for the clinical and management functions, as well as monitoring and evaluation activities pertinent to the operation of the department. Emphasis is on the supervision of the staff who are providing direct patient care through the nursing process. Care is rendered to age-appropriate populations on each patient care unit. The Nurse Manager is responsible for maintaining established standards, managing and coordinating the care and services provided by ancillary and other professional personnel. The Nurse Manager is responsible for maintaining ongoing collaborative and collegial relationships with Medical Staff, clinical and support departments. The Nurse Manager demonstrates clinical skill and competence as necessary.

Education/Experience:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Baccalaureate required in nursing or other related health care field. Masters degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of practice. Demonstrated Leadership skills. Labor & Delivery knowledge required.

Certification/License:
Current Massachusetts license as RN. Department certification as appropriate. BCLS.

 

 

Pay Range:

$125,000.00 USD – $189,000.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
