Job Description:

Seeking an experienced medical nurse to join the ambulatory oncology infusion team at Beverly Hospital and care for adult hematology-oncology patients. Duties include administration of chemotherapy, biotherapy and supportive care medications and procedures (ex: transfusions) and  patient education. Must have superb venous access skills (peripheral and central IV), strong communication skills and be a team player.

Transition to Specialty Practice Oncology Program

 

Addison Gilbert & Beverly Hospital is planning to offer a training program in Oncology nursing to a select number of Registered Nurses who are interested in a career in Oncology. This program is available to all Registered Nurses with at least two years of hospital experience. 

The program will begin in the early spring of 2026 and will consist of online, classroom and development sessions. The precepted clinical experience will continue on a full-time basis until the selected nurses are fully oriented to the Oncology department. This program will take approximately eight to ten weeks depending on the learner. A two-year commitment to the Addison Gilbert/Beverly Hospital Oncology department is expected after completion of orientation.

Applications are due no later than March 9th, 2026.

Current Massachusetts RN license required.  BLS required.

Chemotherapy Certification must be completed within one month of hire.

Floats to the Clinic to cover Nurse Navigation and IV Infusion. This position is cross campus between Beverly Hospital and Addison Gilbert Hospital.

 

 

Pay Range:

$36.00 – $79.12

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.  The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
