Sr Receiver – Job_Description_Under_Construction

Job Description:

 

Essential Responsibilities including but not limited to:  

  • UNLOADS TRUCKS CHECKING FOR CORRECT NUMBER OF PACKAGES NOTING ANY DAMAGES OR SHORTAGES. 

  • DELIVERS PACKAGES TO DEPARTMENTS GETTING SIGNATURES WHEN REQUIRED 

  • OPENS PACKAGES CHECKING PACKING LIST TO VERIFY CORRECT ITEMS AND QUANTITIES. 

  • FILLS LIQUID NITROGEN TANKS FOR UROLOGY AND GIM WEEKLY. 

  • SHIPS OUTGOING PACKAGES USING THE UPS WORLD SHIP COMPUTER 

  • DELIVERS AND CHANGES OXYGEN TANKS THROUGHOUT THE CLINIC ON A CALL DOWN BASIS. 

  • INPUTS RECEIPTS INTO PEOPLE SOFT,PRINTS DELIVERY DOCUMENTS AND MATCHES THEM TO PACKAGES 

  • MAINTAINS FILES FOR PACKING SLIPS AND FOR DELIVERY SLIPS. 

  • RESPONSIBLE FOR OPENING OR CLOSING DEPARTMENT DEPENDING ON SHIFT. 

  • ASSUMES THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE MANAGER IN HIS ABSENCE 

 

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent 
 
Licensure, Certification, Registration
 
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:  In the absence of any of these skills, demonstrates the ability to be thoroughly trained to meet organizational standards. 
 
Experience: Receiving experience and basic computer skills. Some supervisory experience required. 

 

 

Pay Range:

$19.24 – $25.89

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
