Job Description:

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the department director and/or nurse manager responsible for the Staffing Office.Supports bi-weekly payroll administrative computation for nurse leaders, supports staffing activities for Patient Care Services, creates/coordinates monthly schedules and meets daily staffing needs for assigned department using acuity and budgetary guidelines. Collaborates with nurse managers, staffing assistants to assign staff based on identified needs, acuity and staff competency, places staff on call as needed and proactively meets the needs of the departments during periods of high census, acuity or vacant positions. Maintains personnel data in electronic databases. Develops and compiles statistical data and reports as requested.

Education/Experience:

High School or equivalent required. Administrative Assistant, payroll, staffing experience in healthcare setting preferred Computer proficiency required Kronos/Ansos experience preferred.

 

 

Pay Range:

$20.50 – $28.14

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
