Job Description:
Join Our Cardiovascular Medicine Team as a Part-Time NP or PA
Lahey Hospital and Medical Center is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Cardiovascular Medicine team in Burlington, MA.
About the Role:
As an essential member of our team, you will handle all admissions, including writing histories and physicals (H&Ps) and orders. Your responsibilities will also include:
Developing daily therapeutic plans and writing progress notes.
Serving as the main point of contact for consult services, nursing, and other staff.
Managing and coordinating emergency situations.
Ordering and interpreting labs, ECGs, and other diagnostic tests.
We are looking for a candidate who is a positive, collaborative team player with high emotional intelligence who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Shift Details:
This is a part-time position with two 12-hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Hours may be negotiable for the right candidate.
Qualifications:
Experience: Experienced candidates are strongly preferred. New graduates with extensive cardiology experience may be considered.
Master's degree from an accredited Nursing program (NP) or Physician Assistant program (PA).
Current NP or PA certification and license to practice in Massachusetts.
DEA registration.
MCSR.
