Job Description:
Join our team of Transplant Surgeons, Hepatologists, Nephrologists, Advanced Practitioners, and House Staff at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center! We're seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to co-manage kidney transplant and live donor kidney patients in our teaching facility.
What You'll Do:
Under the direction of an attending physician, you'll be responsible for providing comprehensive preoperative, postoperative, and medical care in the outpatient setting, including:
- Formulating and implementing diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and imaging studies.
- Consulting on nephrology and transplant patients.
- Prescribing and dispensing medications.
- Providing educational counseling for patients and families.
- Offering inpatient consult coverage as needed.

We're looking for someone who is flexible, motivated, and collaborative. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where quality and patient care are paramount. Your ability to positively interact with the multidisciplinary team, patients, and their families is essential.
Qualifications:
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a valid Massachusetts license and appropriate certification.
- Must possess and maintain, or be eligible for, Mass DPH Controlled Substance registration and DEA registration.
- At least one year of Advanced Practice experience is required (three years preferred).
