The Physician role provides patients with high-quality treatment and diagnostic services. Is an intuitive healthcare professional whose diagnostic abilities are only matched by their concern for their patients. Will be responsible for meeting, assessing and diagnosing patients in our clinic and providing them with healthcare services that meet state and national standards for caregiving. Will be responsible for prescribing patients with appropriate medication, health regimens and lifestyle adjustments that will contribute to their recovery from diagnosed health issues, prevent future health issues and/or promote a healthier life. Will have a passion for providing diagnostic services to patients and will enjoy working closely with other healthcare professionals in our organization.

Job Description:

Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is expanding its Neurocritical Care and Stroke services and seeks a Neurointensivist to join our team.

About the Role:

You'll provide primary critical care in a dedicated neurocritical care unit and offer consultative care for patients with neurological complications. This role also includes time on our Stroke service and in a planned Neurocritical Care follow-up clinic.

Our Neurocritical Care service, launched in 2015, is a collaborative effort within the Department of Neurology, working closely with Neurosurgery, Critical Care Medicine, and Interventional Neuroradiology.

What We're Looking For:

We need a dedicated, academically oriented, and highly motivated physician who can contribute to the growth of our Neurocritical Care service and Neuro-ICU.

Qualifications:

  • BC in Neurology
  • UNCS eligible or certified in Neurocritical Care
  • Ability to obtain Massachusetts medical licensure
