Job Description:

Neurointenisvist Opportunity at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center!

Lahey Hospital and Medical Center (Burlington, MA), a Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center within the Beth Israel Lahey Health system, is looking for a Neurointensivist to join our growing Neurocritical Care team!

You'll be joining a dedicated team of 5 neurointensivists and 11 Advanced Practitioners in our newly renovated 9-bed Neurosciences Critical Care Unit (NCCU).

This role involves:

  • Attending on the primary NCCU service.
  • Providing Neurocritical Care consults for patients with neurological complications in other critical care units (SICU, CT-ICU, MICU, CCU)
  • Leadership opportunities

Program Growth & Your Impact:

Since 2015, our Neurocritical Care program has seen substantial growth. We have exciting medium-term goals:

  • Expanding NCCU bed capacity
  • Increasing research output
  • Establishing a Neurocritical Care fellowship

We're seeking candidates with experience and enthusiasm in these growth areas who are interested in leadership roles.

Requirements:

We're looking for individuals who are:

  • Dedicated to providing high-quality clinical care in a collegial environment.
  • Academically motivated.
  • Motivated to contribute to the advancement of our Neurocritical Care program.

Qualified Candidates Will Be:

  • BC in Neurology
  • UNCS and/or ACGME eligible or certified in Neurocritical Care
  • Able to obtain medical licensure in Massachusetts
