The Supervisor, IT Training is responsible for supporting all elements of Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) Enterprise education making sure that it incorporates all aspects of the ADDIE Model (Analysis, Development, Design, Implementation, and Evaluation) for all enterprise-wide application(s)/programs(s). The Supervisor manages training support activities in support of G0-Lives through planning, scheduling, assigning, coordinating, and reviewing tasks performed by assigned resources. The Supervisor works closely with and serves as a liaison between all end user groups to ensure training needs and support are scheduled and delivered in a timely manner. The Supervisor helps in the development of standards and strategies for scheduled focused rounding in the various ambulatory sites and inpatient facilities. The Supervisor is responsible for monitoring the delivery of class content and analyzing end-of-class survey data to help improve the learner experience.

Job Description:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to: 
1.    Responsible for all elements of training, planning, design, development, and implementation for designated application(s)/programs for BILH enterprise.
2.    Ensures appropriate scheduling of end-user classes and helps provide oversight for training resources.
3.    Train end users, super users, and additional classroom trainers on assigned applications/projects.
4.    Troubleshoot and support the timely delivery of application training to new and existing end users.
5.    Identify and advocate for innovative learning solutions that meet user’s needs.
6.    Apply instructional design theories, practices, and methods.
7.    Troubleshoot and support the timely delivery of application training to new and existing end users. Demonstrates an understanding of the job description, performance expectations, and competency assessment.
8.    Identify and advocate for innovative learning solutions that meet user’s needs
9.    Provides training and mentoring to other team and/or department members. May also provide oversight of team member’s work on specific projects as determined by the Department Manager.
10.    Participate in the interview process as directed by department management to assess the knowledge of prospective applicants and contractors.
11.    Performs other duties as assigned.
12.    Has the authority to direct and support employees daily work activities. Has the direct responsibility to undertake the following
13.    employment actions: hiring, termination, corrective action, and performance reviews.

Minimum Qualifications: 
Education:    Bachelor's degree required.
Licensure, Certification & Registration:    Certification in 3 or more Epic EHR applications/ additional certification obtained within first 90 days of hire if required.
Experience:    5 - 8 years of adult education, instructional design, and direct experience in Epic Electronic Health Record implementation, training and support.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:    Demonstrate a commitment toward meeting and exceeding the needs of our customers and consistently adhere to Customer Service standards.
