The System Interfaces and Integration Team Lead (TL) functions as the primary expert for the interfaces, integration solutions, and interface development, and oversees the work activities of the interface team. Working closely with the Interface Director and Manager, the TL defines interfaces, builds and manages the interface engine and Bridges configuration, and builds and migrates the interfaces. The Team Lead (TL) will report to the Interface Manager and/or Interface Director and will be responsible for planning and monitoring interface implementation, as well as testing and change control procedures. The TL takes direction from, and collaborates with, the Director and/or Manager on work priorities and manages the resolution of escalated issues.

The TL will serve as the primary support contact for their respective interfaces, as well as serve as a point of contact for various other integrations within their assigned team. The TL will serve as a leader with overall responsibility for interface analysis and design, interface testing, and implementation. Maintains the ongoing relationships between the Epic applications teams, Ancillary teams, as well as external vendors and partners. They will coordinate all issues that arise during the interface implementation for their respective team and must be very knowledgeable of the organization's policies, procedures, and business operations.

The TL is expected to manage interface analysis, design, testing, and implementation. They lead small and medium-sized integration projects, collaborate with various teams, and ensure adherence to IT lifecycle methodologies and change management processes. The role requires independent initiative, problem-solving, and oversight of team members, while also handling special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Job Description:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities, including but not limited to: 
1.    Serve as the primary contact for various integrations within their assigned team (Beaker, Cupid, Kaleidoscope, Radiant, etc.)
2.    The lead in resolving cross-functional issues that are escalated throughout the development, testing, implementation, and support of the lifecycle.
3.    Responsible for interface analysis, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of complex integration solutions. Must be able to manage/multitask on several large assigned projects.
4.    Mentor, train, and guide team members to facilitate career growth
5.    Provides on-call / after-hours support as required.
6.    Communicates effectively and professionally while consistently adhering to customer service standards.
7.    Prepares and maintains documentation, including analysis, design, programming, and standard procedures
8.    Performs all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department and/or customer.
9.    Achieve and maintain required certifications (if applicable) 


Minimum Qualifications: 
Education:
•    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Licensure, Certification & Registration: 
•    Epic Bridges Certification

Experience:
•    10+ years proven experience working in an Information Services Dept. or software vendor organization within the healthcare industry, or 10+ years in HealthCare Information Services.
•    Integration Engine experience 8+ years
•    Epic Bridges experience 5+ years
•    Experience in healthcare data integration and working with EMR systems.
•    Experience in the implementation, configuration, development, testing of interfaces with Epic applications (Grand Central/Him/Revenue cycle/ Radiant/ Cupid/Beaker/Lumens, etc)

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
•    Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
•    Proficiency with interoperability standards such as HL7 V2.x and REST API, FHIR, Cache Object scripting
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and OneDrive.
•    Knowledge and experience using advanced project management tools and techniques
•    Ability to lead as well as be a team player, flexible, congenial, and enthusiastic
•    Candidate will have a proven track record of project and team leadership, producing quality deliverables on time, taking ownership and accountability of assignments and demonstrating a strong work ethic
