Job Description:

Come join our Steele 1 teamlocatedat Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester. Our team is proud to be therecipientsof many Daisy Awards. Steele1 is a medical telemetry unit with a wide patient demographic ranging from young adults to geriatrics. Patients range from a variety of respiratory illnesses, heart disease,endof life care,strokes, andalcohol and drug withdrawal. Here you can become IV certified and part of the Code team, trained in theuseinsulin drips, cardiac drips and an extensive education with our unit dedicated nurse educator.

As a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Inpatient Team, you willbe responsible forthe following:

  • Complete assessments, administermedications/treatments, observespatient’s progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to developan optimalhealth care strategy plan for each patient

  • Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achievemaximumoutcomes

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing(BSN) preferred

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)required

  • ACLS and Telemetry experience preferred (4-day Telemetry course offered for those without Telemetry experience
