Are you ready to become a part of our dynamic Adult Psychiatric team?

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Encourages and supports patients in maintaining ADL’s.
  • Assists multidisciplinary team in formulating, implementing, and observing outcomes of the individualized patient plan of care.
  • Communicates and records significant changes in patient’s condition or behavioral changes to the RN.
  • Monitors the therapeutic milieu and maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, family members, and staff.
  • Works collaboratively as a co-leader or leader during scheduled groups and documents patient’s participation.
  • Assists the Registered Nurse with the admission assessment and discharge process.
  • Manages stressful situations in a calm, organized and professional manner.

Scheduled Hours: 30 hrs/wk, every other weekend

Work Shift: 11 p - 7a - Nights

Education Required: High School Diploma required and a bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field or equivalent experience is preferred.

Licenses, Registrations, Certifications Required:

  • BLS Certification 
  • AVADE Training

Experience:At least one year of experience working with psychiatric patients in an inpatient setting is preferred.
