Your Role at a Glance:

As a Physician Assistant on the Interventional Radiology team, you'll play a central role in both Interventional Radiology and Musculoskeletal Radiology, supporting our physicians and patients through a wide range of procedures.  This is a full-time role. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct patient histories, physical exams, develop treatment plans, order and interpret labs and imaging studies.
  • Perform image-guided procedures including joint injections, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, aspirations, and vascular access.
  • Act as a clinical educator and resource for staff; provide formal and informal teaching and contribute to scholarly activities.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. Coordinate care plans with clinical teams and consulting services.
  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration to assess and meet the health needs of patients and their families.
  • Manage direct care for patients receiving opioid therapy.

What You Bring:

Education & Experience

  • Master’s Degree required.
  • Prior experience in a teaching hospital or relevant specialty strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems, Microsoft Office applications, and web-based tools.

Registration/Certification

  • Current Massachusetts PA License
  • ARC-PA and NCCPA Certification
  • Fluoroscopy Certification for Physician Assistants via the ARRT
  • American Heart Association- Basic Life Support certification.
  • American Heart Association- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Valid prescriptive authority from both the MA DPH – DCP and Federal DEA.
