UNIT DESCRIPTION:
The Critical Care Center is a 13-bed critical care unit with 24 hourintensivistcoverage that serves adult and geriatric patients with medical and/or surgical issues.
Preference will be given, by seniority, to those qualified nurses who were serially displaced within the 18 months following his/her displacement according toMNAcontract section 9.4 (f)(1).
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Mass RN license
- Current AHABLSandACLScertification required.
- At least 1 year recent (within the last12months) criticalcare experience required; ability to demonstrate competency in core critical care skills: ventilator management,vasoactiveand sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, cardiacdysrhythmiarecognition and management, postSTEMIcare; evidence of relevant continuing education
Recommended Requirements:
- BSN &CCRNPreferred.
- Documented professional development activities.
