This staff position will have an impact on improving patient safety by providing excellent mentoring and training of clinical staff in the first week of training in the Clinical Assistant Training Program (CATP).Job Description:

Qualifications:
Graduate of a state-approved and/or accredited RN program required.
Valid State of Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
Preferred: BSN strongly encouraged.
Work Experience:
At least two years in clinical nursing
Experience as a preceptor or trainer
Preferred: At least two years of health education
LIFE SUPPORT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Basic Life Support
As part of the Center for Healthy Living team, you will provide
training and mentoring to clinical assistant (CA) trainees on patient care, which may include personal hygiene tasks with a patient, proper lifting, and checking vital signs on the clinical site.
evaluations regarding trainees' abilities.
a teaching style to meet the needs of the trainees.
collaboration with other Nurse Aide Training Specialists and Training Assistants to keep class content consistent.
