Director, Radiology Nursing

Lead Beyond Traditional Nursing Leadership
Join a Magnet-designated academic medical center as the Director of Radiology Nursing, overseeing a team of 45 nurses supporting:
✅ Interventional Radiology
✅ CT-Guided Procedures
✅ Ultrasound-Guided Procedures
✅ Procedural Imaging Services

What Makes This Role Different?
- Not a traditional Nursing Director position
- Serves as the nursing subject matter expert across all Radiology modalities
- Partners closely with Radiology leaders, physicians, and Nursing Directors throughout BIDMC
- Leads quality, patient safety, and patient event reporting initiatives

What You'll Lead
- Team of 45 nursing professionals
- Clinical and operational oversight of radiology nursing services
- Recruitment, retention, staff development, and performance management
- Budget, staffing, and resource planning
- Quality and regulatory initiatives
Qualifications
Required
- BSN required
- Massachusetts RN License required
- BLS Certification required
- Radiology and/or Peri Op Nursing Experience required
- 5+ years of relevant healthcare leadership experience required
Preferred
- Master's Degree (Nursing, Healthcare Administration, MBA, or related field)
- Leadership experience in Interventional Radiology, Procedural Services, Critical Care, or Imaging
Pay Range:
$180,000.00 USD – $230,000.00 USD
The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
